The Editors welcome papers that advance knowledge and understanding of all aspects of psychiatric nursing research, practice, education and management. All papers must have a sound scientific, theoretical or philosophical base. All manuscripts are reviewed by an Editor Reviewer. When a review is returned, the editor assigned to the paper identifies any further modifications needed before the paper can be accepted. Our policy is that the review role is to advise the executive editor, but it is the latter who makes the final decision.
The Editor Reviewers retain the right to modify the style of a contribution but major changes will be agreed upon with the author(s) and author(s) are asked to check the final page proofs.
Copyright Transfer Agreement
We do not require scans or hard copies of the Copyright Transfer Agreement. Instead, we have introduced a convenient new process for signing your copyright transfer agreement electronically (eCTA) that will save you considerable time and effort. If your paper is accepted, the Corresponding Author for the paper will complete the copyright form electronically within the Journal’s web site at www.cjpnr.org
All manuscripts are considered on the understanding that they are not under consideration a larger study, and you or other authors, have written additional papers that have been published/submitted for publication in this or any other journal using the study as the basis for the article, you must contact the Executive Editor with details to ensure there is no breach of copyright. Any breach of copyright will be taken very seriously and appropriate action taken. Authors are solely responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyright material from other sources.

Style of Manuscripts:
Manuscripts should be written in a clear, concise and in grammatically correct English. Layout with single spacing and using 10.5 ARIAL font so that they are intelligible to the professional reader.
Proofs:
Proofs, if necessary, will be sent via e-mail as an Acrobat PDF file and your comments should be returned within 3 days of proof sheet receipt.
Author’s Check List:
* All references cited in the text are included in the reference section.
* All figures and tables are cited in the text.
* The pages are numbered.
* Figures and images are at least 300 dpi (dots per inch).
* Arial Font 10.5 single spacing.
